To a friend who thought eleven floors would kill him.
To the day he awoke surprised he was living.
Then I realized that here you stay as long as you have to,

To the day I went to bury my father
And I figured out I wouldn’t have another.
To the time he took my hand in his and told me “son, you have to be
better than me”.

To that place I left.
To all of my friends.
